Sienna + Family

I recently wrapped up a shoot with my friend Jill, Amos and their daughter Sienna. It was fun to see Jill again and meet the rest of her crew!

Aren't kid toys the cutest?

Here's Jill, Amos, and Sienna soakin' up some sunshine from the window (gorgeous). We can't forget about Chance, the stray dog Jill rescued and adopted into the family.

Little Sienna couldn't stand having shoes on anymore. The ground was wet (and cold!) so she left a little trail of footprints behind her everywhere she went. Love it!

Thanks guys! Great to see you! :)

Amazing... Simply Amazing

This... is Becki (knee deep in the snow).

Becki asked if I would shoot family pictures for her parents' anniversary.

The catch was... we had to do it on Feb. 10th.

If you reflect for a moment back to that lovely, bone chilling Saturday.... you will probably remember spending most of it in the warm comfort of the indoors somewhere. But not us!

We headed outdoors, to Pioneers Park... where we danced (literally... they brought a portable stereo!!!!!) around in the snow drifts on the lake...

tried out some new moves...

whoa... that looks like it was close!

and had a great time!

Thanks guys. You definitely win the rock star attitude award!!! It was a blast to work with you!

Snow Bunny

A few weeks ago when LPS shut down due to the blizzard, and everyone (most people) barricaded themselves in their homes, my phone rang. It was Christine's mom. The conversation went something like this...

"Hello! KaBloom Studios, this is Khara."

"Hi Khara... this is Christine's mom. Isn't this weather great? Let's go shoot Christine's pictures... outside!"

We had been holding off on Christine's senior photo shoot waiting for the perfect snow day. Boy, did she get it! This one with the holiday lights in the background is my absolute FAVE. I love, love, love it!

At the end of the shoot, how could we pass up some snow angels???

Thanks Christine... that was fun!

Westcoasters

Part of this crew came all the way from Washington state for some photos (well, ok... they really came to visit family... but KaBloom is honored they worked in a shoot while in town!). What a cutie!

This is big cousin.

This is little cousin.

Thanks for making it happen you guys! Next time I'm Washington bound I will take you up on your offer! :)
