Love at Pinewood Bowl!

I always thought it would be awesome to have a wedding at Pinewood Bowl in Pioneers Park. In fact, I even considered it for my own wedding.

When Sarah and Steven told me that's where they were planning their wedding, I was pumped! Apparently, they were the first couple to have a wedding there... so hopefully the powers-that-be were thrilled with how everything worked, and more couples can enjoy everything the bowl has to offer!

Erica & Seth

Ok, you have to read this. Erica is a serious trooper! When I arrived to start taking pictures, Seth pulled up and said, "Did you hear what happened?"

I got butterflies in my stomach as he proceeded to explain. Erica was already on dress number 2 (long story), when the zipper completely broke out of the back, rendering the dress utterly unusable.

Somehow (I still can't figure out how she managed this....) while we were gathering for pictures, she ran to a bridal shop and bought another dress (#3 for those of you playing along at home) just in time for the wedding! All without breaking a sweat or showing one ounce of stress!? Erica, what is your secret? :)

Not a cloud in the sky!

Ready to ride off into the sunset!

Bubbles galore!

Fantastic colors!

The aisle decorations were beautiful!

When Erica first asked me to shoot her and Seth's wedding, I was actually scheduled to be out of town. Plans changed, and was happily able to be part of their special day after all. Isn't it lovely when things work out? Thanks for including me you two!

Colby & Dawnelle

Colby and Dawnelle just got married a few weeks ago and I had the honor of capturing their special day. Look how Colby literally sweeps Dawnelle off her feet!

There are some comedians among the family and wedding party...

Beautiful place settings helped make a memorable evening!

Ok- Dawnelle's Grandpa is one hip fellow. Check out his stylin' orange shirt. I love this shot where he's one-on-one with digital technology. The only question is, who's helping who? :)

Pretty in Pink

Brittanie & Nathan's wedding took place on the "wedding island" at Wilderness Ridge. Absolutely incredible. Of course, it helped that Brittanie has such great taste for decorations... but still!

Here's Brittanie trying to hitch a ride back up to the lodge... it's a long way to walk in heels!

See what I mean about beautiful?

These aisle decorations were my favorite! Brittanie made them herself. What talent!

I wonder what they were whispering about... it must've been good!

Thanks guys for letting me be part of your special day!

A New Sister-in-Law!

This weekend I shot a double-header. Well, not exactly.... one wedding was Friday, the other was Saturday.... but that still loosely qualifies, right? :)

Friday's wedding was none other than my very own brother-in-law's! That means I officially have a new sister-in-law! And I couldn't have asked for a better one. She is wonderful.

Of course, Adis is wonderful too, and has been my brother-in-law for nearly a year now! (Emir and I's anniversary is coming up!) They live just a few short blocks from us, and it's great to have them so close.

Laura's dress was gorgeous. Very classic. The perfect dress for a beautiful ceremony in the park.

Here's Laura getting ready to walk down the aisle. Isn't she beautiful?

I love this photo! This is when she snuck up on him and he was about to see her for the first time. The look on her face is fantastic!

Here's Emir toasting his brother and Laura. What a great job he did! (is he handsome or what?)

Time to put my camera down for a moment and sneak in a dance with my honey... :) (thanks for thinking of me and snapping this pic Lisa!)
