Baby #2!

My cousin Jaime and her husband Corey recently welcomed baby Alex into the family. They currently live in Grand Island (previously in KC) and we're happy to have them so close... (even though we still don't get to see them nearly enough!)

Big sister Molly is slowly warming up to the idea of having to share mom with someone else... but she's doing a great job as big sister.... how sweet!

Alex

Alex and I laughed a lot during the shoot... especially when we discovered we both sing the same wrong-words to a song we remember from childhood! ('Secret Agent Man') Ha ha!

Daisy Do

Kayla brought a yellow daisy with her to the studio... what fun!

Eventually, we kinda had a flower theme goin' on... so how could we resist this little beauty we found on the sidewalk... It even matched Kayla's shirt!

Elliot & Becky

What better way to start your day, than at Elliot & Becky's wedding!? The ceremony started at 10:00am (yes... AM!) so we got a bright and early start on photos.

Their guests were treated to a delicious lunch, which meant that Elliot & Becky could enjoy their evening together, just the two of them! Great idea you two!

The Sound of Music

I love this shot!!! The car light streaks are awesome and Andy is doin' a super star job! PLUS, I was treated to live music while working... pretty cool if you ask me!

He was such a good sport.... up for anything!

Andy is a talented and versatile musician. I (barely) struggled my way through piano lessons, flute rehearsals, and a week of violin camp when I was a kid... (to absolutely no avail...) but this guy can seriously rock out on sax and guitar, just to name a few!

Back For More!

I first met Kelsey when she spent time with me last year for a job-shadowing assignment from her school (my alma mater - my old teacher put her up to it!).

We had a great time (of course!) so when it was time for her senior pictures, she came back for a visit!

Great to see you again Kelsey! Have a fab year!

New Arrival!

Little baby Carter was blissfully unaware of what we were up to while photographing him one bright morning a few weeks ago. He slept through most of it with few complaints. What a guy!

I love this shot with his mom and dad's wedding rings on his toes... what perspective!

This chair cover got tossed in the wash after this shot... When you gotta go, you just gotta go!

Boys Will Be Boys

Look at this adorable little guy! Ethan's mom called me awhile back and asked me to come up to Omaha and capture some images of him. It was rainy and wet outside, but it couldn't have been better... he was perfectly content to splash and play!

I love this shot of his little feet... He was a kid on the move! All boy. If it was wet, muddy, or filled with sand... he was in it!
