Shortly before Emir and I headed south to Miami, I was invited to visit the Lincoln East High School yearbook class to help the yearbook photographers with some challenges they were facing.

Natasha did a fantastic job of arranging everything, and I had a TON of fun demystifying the art/science of photography. Thanks for being such a great group! I hope I was able to help you guys tackle your photographic challenges! :)

Tanner Turns 2!

Lil' Tanner recently turned the big T-W-O, so Julie (his mom) invited me back for some photo fun. I LOVE this hat!

Tanner didn't remember me from the first time I came and shot his pictures a year or so ago.... so he was a little shy at first...

His mom had this brilliant idea where she bought a bunch of plastic balls and filled up a sandbox with them..... basically creating the 'balls' kids get to play in at Chuck E. Cheese. What a great idea! I may have to make a set of my own! (Sure helped Tanner get over his shyness!)

Back in the Saddle...

Having recently returned from Miami, there was no time for delay! I jumped right back into the swing of things with family photos for these cuties!

Pouting photos are my FAVORITES. I love how for this split moment in time (which surely passed in .125 seconds), her world was somehow turned upside down. And then, just as quickly.... she was over it and back to chasing her big sister around. *sigh* Kids.....

Big sis is full of love for the new guy! :)

I've been blessed in life to do quite a number of fun and exciting things.... and I have to tell you, flying on the trapeze is definitely high on that list! Next time you're in Miami, you've GOT to try trapeze class!
