Thankful

Somehow, I was graced to be born to amazing parents.... who gave me 3 incredible siblings that it's been a pleasure to watch as they grow up and carve out their own path in the world. (I'm the oldest.... can you tell? ;) Thank you mom and dad!

My husband, who found his way to me from the other side of the globe through a chain of chanced moments..... has touched my life forever and continually surprises me with his many talents and unwavering love and support. Thank you sweet thing!

Friends from the world 'round have touched my heart and taught me much. How can I ever thank you enough?

29 years young.... I continue to enjoy a very colorful, non-linear adventure through life.... and I savor every silly, stressful, dramatic, exciting, triumphant (and non-triumphant) moment. I'm thankful for the opportunity to do what I love. (I'm uber grateful that I get to do so much of it, that my schedule is bursting at the seams sometimes! :) I have so many fantastic clients that trust me with their loved ones and memories.... for that I am eternally appreciative.

Here's a BEAUTIFUL little animated short story about love. I appreciate and am thankful for creativity, talent, and passion in the world that produces simple pleasures like this. Enjoy!

Grama Mimi

Mimi and her crew gathered together recently for a big ol' family shoot. Runny noses and all.... it was a good time! :)

Deep in thought in a serious game of dominoes...

This little guy's favorite thing in the whole wide world is this vacuum cleaner. Dude... you are invited to my house anytime! :)

Pullin' Grampa in the wagon....

No place like Grama's house! :)

The Square Root of Love

If you know Catherine and Arlen, you understand how their relationship squared, is pure love. :)

Here's Arlen just before he headed to the chapel to see Catherine for the first time as his bride. We started early in the morning, as their ceremony began at 12 noon.

Makin' it look easy.... :)

I love her bouquet!

Yours truly: self portrait in the funky ceiling tiles outside the sanctuary.

Old-school tradition: tin cans tied to the back bumper. They made such a sweet sound clanking down the street!

Thank you for including me in your celebration of love! Have a kick a** time in Hawaii.... :)

Looking for Something To Do Tonight?

Join the party TONIGHT at Zen's from 5-8 to GET YOUR SHOP ON with all the goodies from the gals and Emmy & Ivy. It's a craftacular shopping extravaganza!

I will be there with bells on.... I can't wait to get my hands on some more of those FAB vintage cocktail rings! (and I already have 3, count 'em THREE!)

Maybe Sarah will let you look at her session brag book I'm bringing with me tonight... maybe. Just maybe. If you can pry it out of her hands... ha ha! :)

Miss Olivia

I was so thrilled when Sarah (of Emmy & Ivy glory!) asked me to photograph her gorgeous family! We shot all over the place and had a total ball. After hanging out shooting/chatting for the morning.... we called it a 'wrap.' Here are some of my faves!

"Where's my belly button? I swear it used to be here....."

Here's the gorgeous couple responsible for such a cutie.... They are so darling!

"Enough playing outside.... time to go upstairs!"

"Wheeeeee!"

Look at those eyes!

Bath time!

Kisses for bear....

Too cute! That was so much fun.... I hope your photos make you smile for years and years to come!

Got 'Cha! :)

This little cutie was dead set on not smiling. She didn't want anything to do with me or my camera.... Except when she thought that maybe, just maybe.... I wasn't looking. :) Regardless.... I manged to capture some absolutely timeless shots of her. Read on!

Here's the whole family enjoying the season...

Doh! Is that a smile I see?

Big bro was all smiles....

Big sis too!

Oh oh.... looks like we've had enough.

I *LOVE* her pouty pout in this shot. She is dramatically demonstrating her dissatisfaction with the whole photographic process.....

2 seconds later.... she was over it. :) Score!

Way too much fun you guys! Thank you for letting me spend time with you and your family!

*Editor's Note: When I got back to my office after posting these files... I found the following email waiting for me.... Thanks Julie!
