Cuddle Time!

Baby blue. Royal blue. Powder blue. Tiffany blue (now there's a good one!). So many different shades and tones of this hue, but nothing can quite compare to the blue sparkle of Lukas's bright blue eyes! (How cute is mom!?) :) lincoln_nebraska_portriat_photographer_05lincoln_nebraska_portriat_photographer_06lincoln_nebraska_portriat_photographer_07

This family is so laid back. They know how to relax, have fun, and enjoy each other's company. Working with them was a breeze!

I think lil' Lukas is a lil' copy of his daddy-o!

lincoln_nebraska_portriat_photographer_02

Justin and Jen are two peas in a pod. Such an adorable couple! I haven't quite figured out why, but Justin totally reminds me of my brother-in-law, Roy. Too funny!

Enjoy your photos! :)

Katie + Brad: Down the Aisle

Does Katie look like a starlet in this image, or what!? A glowing bride, for sure! lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_121

I love the thought and attention that goes into every bridal detail. Even putting on the dress becomes a practice of intense focus. Here, three lovely ladies assist.

The groomsmen were quite entertaining, in and of their own right.....

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_31

The reception was held at the Omaha Livestock Exchange, on the 10th floor. I'd never been there before... what a treat!

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_141

Gorgeous!

Katie's dad gave her a heart felt hug after the father-daughter dance. A great moment!

Thanks so much for inviting me to share the day with you! Safe and wonderful travels!

Neema: Take 2

Neema arrived with a smile way back in October... but the weather wasn't as agreeable as he was. With winter on our heals, and the yearbook deadline fast approaching, we did a quick headshot and vowed to reschedule for spring. We were finally able to make something work and create these images. I can't wait to hear what he thinks! lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_61lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_22

I love this look of somewhat laughable surrender. Nicely done Neema! :)

Enjoy what's left of your year Neema.... and have a wonderful trip to DC... it's a great city!

Blowin' In the Wind

Kelsey was such a good sport. Down to the wire, we didn't have time to schedule a re-shoot. So, we went forth with a can-do spirit despite winds that could blow paint off the wall. And, (genius moment here), we busted out an umbrella to boot. Nothing like a challenge! I love the results! lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_21lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_31

It actually looks calm in this photo! Score!

Very cool young lady! Thanks for choosing KaBloom!

Lil' Red

Nothin' like a lil' school bus yellow to cap off your senior year! lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_7

Melissa's nickname is 'red.' These two images capture her gorgeous auburn hair that inspired such a moniker.

lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_6

Ummmm... did someone say Red? Red head + red fire hydrant!? Yes please!

lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_1

I've made a habit out of subjecting my poor subjects to bright, bright light. It's only fair! :)

lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_4lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_5lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_8

Ahem! Orange tutu? I'm in heaven!

lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_3lincoln_nebraska_senior_pictures_photographer_2

Rock on Miss Red....  :)

Effie + Michael: Candylicious!

When Michael gave Effie her wedding day present.... her response was heartfelt. Here, she reads the card her husband-to-be sent upstairs from the 5th to the 9th floor at the hotel (by way of maid of honor). I have no idea what the card said, but it must've been good. :) Nicely done Michael!

I went a little crazy with ring shots today.... I couldn't pick a favorite. Which one do you like best?

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_3lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_6lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_4

I'm in love with this image of Cecelia, the flower girl. A big girl moment....

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_5

Hillis & Co. did the flowers. This artichoke bouquet was from the rehearsal dinner. Isn't it brilliant? The bouquet was a springtime treasure!

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_9

News reports threatened blizzards, wind storms, and worse. Thankfully, it held off until the late hours of the night, though the wind did make for some great photo moments...

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_8lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_10

More Hillis & Co. beautifullness... :)

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_11

Love those freckles!

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_2

The wedding favor was candy take-out. Simply incredible!

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_12

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_13

The dance floor went to good use!

lincoln_nebraska_wedding_photographer_7

Have a safe drive back to NY you two & thanks for letting me capture the start of your new adventure!
