Love Shoot: Heidi & JJ

I am so pumped to be shooting Heidi and JJ's wedding.... they're getting married in West Point, NE... and having done quite a few weddings up there already, I really feel like part of the family! Plus, they're getting married in December... and we'll get to shoot with a big ol' Christmas tree in the middle of main street... I am stoked!

Here's a few from their loveshoot.... I'm going to build a custom designed photo guest book for them. It will be gorgeous!

I love adding a vintage feel to these... it takes off the squeaky 'newness' of them and turns them into timeless classics.

On our way back at the end, we stopped for ice cream. Just when you thought they couldn't get any 'sweeter!' (OMG... that was a lame pun! Ha ha!)

Alicia + Bret: The Wedding!

Alicia and Bret's engagement shoot was so much fun, I've been looking forward to their wedding ever since! Today was the big day... here are a few quick faves.... :)

I often take the couple aside for a personal moment when they see each other for the first time.... sometimes, they have an audience.

The sky was fabulous. It made such a lovely backdrop that I couldn't resist!

The ceremony was sweet and simple. Alicia's sisters sang several times throughout. (in three part harmony no less!) Not only are they gorgeous, but their voices are heaven sent!

On the way to the reception, we snagged a few more moments... the sky had become cloudy, and just as we were shooting, it started to drizzle. So romantic!

But not before we scored some fun ring shots... I love to incorporate the shoes!

Last but not least.... check out this old relic of a phone booth! "Hello!? Yes... we're married!"

Super Stars: Emma & Ethan

These little babes are regulars in front of my lens... they recently made the trip over from Omaha for our most current shoot. I have literally photographed their lives for the past few years... so much fun!

Here's Emma... she's such a big girl these days!

This guy was an infant when I first came to know the family... look at him now!

Calorie Burner

Emir and I recently enjoyed another tandem bike ride.... I tell ya, that was one heck of a garage sale find! Originally, the plan was to work off a few calories, but we ended up biking downtown where we proceeded to order ice cream, and eventually dinner (with fries. Gasp!) So much for the calorie burner.... :)
