Pumpkin Patch Frolic

I've been following this family for the past year... since lil' Kylan was just a bun in the oven, and I look forward to seeing them each and every time. This shoot was the third in a series we planned to capture Kylan's first year. At her newborn shoot, we decided that sometime in the fall of 2010, we'd reconnect at a pumpkin patch for her 1 year session... and here we are! I loved so many of these images... the only way to make a post of a reasonable size was to blog board them... Kylan's bunny face & Kamryn's missing teeth were not to be excluded! :)

Isn't that family shot at the end priceless? Ha ha ha!

Love Shoot: Carrie + Mitch

This season has been amazing! And not just because of the unbelievable weather (though, that has been a huge part of it.. and I am thankful every single day). The front of my lens continues to be graced by gorgeous people in love... and we always manage to have a good time. Carrie + Mitch were obviously, no exception. (Carrie's bombshell hair was out. of. this. world!) Look out June!

Class of 2011: Carly

It's always an honor when a family I've worked with before comes back for more KaBloom fun. :) Carly is the second Cannon daughter I've had the honor of photographing, and she brought older sister Lauren along with her... which made for a mini-reunion! All three of us had a ball running around town, finding just the right spots for Carly to shine... thanks for being so great ladies!

Love Shoot: Rachael + Blake

So, Rachael is a fashion designer... and it shows. Just a little. :) She and Blake live in Colorado and made a trip home to Nebraska for a whirlwind weekend featuring all kinds of excitement, including this pho-tastic shoot! With their wedding day just under a year away... they already have plans for some pretty spectacular details. Three simple phrases and I'm already hooked: Nebraska City, big barn, September wedding. Simply put, I am stoked!

We wandered into the woods of Plymouth, Nebraska for this photo shoot... complete with antique furniture and family heirloom quilts. Rachael's parents came along to help... bringing a bowl full of *the* most enchanting smelling apples you've ever whifed in your life... It was truly unbelievable! Bath & Body Works (or your favorite brand of candle) has nothing on those babies!

How darling is this? Not to mention the 'Save the Date' banner Rachael made that's hanging behind them... love, love, love!

Then it was off to Grandmother's fields...

Of course, who could resist capping off a great shoot with some s'mores?

Job well done! :) September is going to be FABULOUS!

Love Shoot: Cassie + Taylor

She's simply gorgeous... and he's, well... totally adorable in a way that reminds me of none other than Hugh Grant. It took me awhile to put my finger on it... but that's definitely it. You see it too, don't you? :) Cassie's beauty (are you kidding me? check out those huge brown puddles otherwise known as eyes!) combined with Taylor's charm equals great images, despite them swearing up and down that they are photographically challenged... I think not! Completely psyched for their winter wedding coming up this March!

Sometimes the moment just before a kiss is so much more intense... the suspense can be killer!

Gentlemen... when in doubt about where to put your hands... the neck is always a GREAT spot! :)

Sunburst!

Love this!

:) Let the countdown begin!

Love Shoot: Allison + Matt

In an attempt to score more gorgeous images (and a caramel apple or two!), Allison, Matt and I headed out to the local pumpkin patch for some fall photo fun. :) The weather was in full cooperation and all was well, except that when we were finished, the place was out of caramel apples! How is that even possible? :) Luckily, there's no running out of good times with the one you love... :) Great job you too!

Love Shoot: Rachel + Jeff

How can you go wrong when you combine an adorable couple with an apple orchard on a gorgeous fall day? Two cheers for great images (and my first caramel apple of the season)! This is hands down, my absolute favorite season of the year... and I'm always extra thrilled when I can combine my love of the season with my love for my clients and the pursuit of beautiful images. I can't wait to bring Emir out here for a visit sometime next year!

Great job you two... totally looking forward to your big day next July!

Baby Cuteness: Klaire

My heart melted the minute my eyes landed on little Miss Klaire. She has *the* most gorgeous huge brown eyes with lashes that I'm pretty sure create changes on global weather patterns with each flutter or blink. She's cute as a button and squishy as can be. Definitely a contributing factor to a severe case of baby fever!

When she was serious... she was s.e.r.i.o.u.s. Gotta love that!

Love this look! Like she's daring me to come another step closer... ha!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??????? I tried to find ways I could run out the door with her and escape Kelly & Blake's notice... but... they were pretty good at keeping an eye on her at all times... go figure. :)

LOVE. :) You guys are all so darn cute!

Down the Aisle: Hannah + Jeremy

Engaged in Paris... About to honeymoon in Italy... these two's hearts are wrapped in a worldly romance. How delicious! Their love of travel inspired this yummy vintage/travel engagement session and was the theme of their reception decor (gorgeous! see below!). Believe it or not, poor Hannah had been battling a massive (massive) sinus infection for at least a week before the wedding. While many brides might panic to be under the weather and out of commission so close to their big day... Hannah knew she had Jeremy. He took her to the doctor, got her some meds, handled the day's timeline, worked with all the various vendors, and told Hannah her only job was to rest. (Who wouldn't love that!?) In a nutshell, Jeremy completely rocked it. They're already a dynamic duo... and they've only been married for 24 hours. :)

Wedding: St. Mary's Reception: Lincoln Station Videography: Emily Pottebaum, eBaum Productions DJ: Daren Nuttelman, Complete Music

How adorable are these Eiffel Tower champagne glasses, the globe, and this aluminum camera!? They're all from Z-Gallerie... though I can't find the camera on their site... :(

Party time!

Simply adorable. Can't wait to hear all about your trip... if you guys end up taking the boat from Venice to Croatia... I will be all ears!
