Well, it's not every shoot that inspires such unsolicited commentary from passersby, including a demonstrably curious man on a 4-wheeler and some kids eager to help with marital advice. But then again—not everyone is Lindsey + Jason. Everyone seems drawn to this couple for one reason or another, and really... how could you not be?
Jason has this great grin than makes everyone around him smile.... love that!
Yeowsa. What peepers!
What fun! Can't wait for May!
Anytime I get invited up to West Point to photograph a wedding, I know I'm in for a treat, and Jenna & Kevin's wedding was no exception. I was anxious to check out their famed "Grand March" wedding tradition. It's somewhat like a conga line gone wild, set to polka music—what a hoot! The best part is, it ends with everyone encircling the newly married couple on the dance floor, setting the stage for the first dance. (Photos below!)
Thanks for inviting me to be part of your family for the day—congratulations to you all!
This lil' stinker was not having me or my camera at all. But I caught up with her here, and got her to crack! Mua-ha ha!

See you there!
Happy holiday Monday! :) I'm getting ready to prep the blog for when I'm on the road for 2.5 months with The [UN]tour, and wondered what posts you'd like to see while I'm gone. In other words, I'm taking requests, so bring it on! :)
In the meantime, Emir and I have been busy over at The [UN]tour blog sharing lots of photos, videos, and posts about our adventures training for our upcoming trip. We look forward to sharing the fun with everyone!
Laura + Greg are just too cute. They live in downtown Chicago and happened to be in Lincoln to catch the start of football season (Go Big Red!). So in a whirlwind weekend of family, friends, and football—they made some time to squeeze in an engagement session. And what a session it was! I am totally psyched to work with them (and meet their families!) on their wedding day in Chicago next July... let the countdown begin!
Haris loves to go fishing. He loves his Sponge Bob Squarepants pole. And—he loves worms. So naturally, we headed out to the lake to catch these summer moments before fall catches up with us.
So fun! Love you guys!
I **love** the takeaways from yesterday's love hoot with Sarah + Darren! Even though it was hot (and I was a sweaty sweat ball), they managed to look perfectly cool and for some reason, I felt like I could smell fall... just around the corner. Yummmmmm....
Great job! (loooooove the pink dress!) Hope you enjoyed the Amo Te... Can't wait for June!
I love outdoor weddings! Lauren + Chad whipped up a delightful day, complete with moderate temps and clear blue skies! (The gorgeous wedding design is courtesy of MJ Shelbourn! She rocks!)
Yeowsa! I kept telling Lauren that her eyes were amazing... and they certainly were!
You know I'm a sucker for cute Grandpas.... especially with a bolo tie (and a camera)!
The father of the bride, Pete, takes a moment to catch his breath before walking his daughter down the aisle...
You did it guys!!!!!!! May you spend the rest of your lives celebrating the love that brought you together on this day! Cheers!
Lauren was an involved bride... here she insisted on us handing over our cameras so she could snap a couple photos of Emir and I in the ShootShack. Not too shabby Lauren! What are you doing for the next bunch of Saturdays? :)
